Notice of Casual Vacancy

Following the recent resignation of a Councillor, a casual vacancy has arisen on Berinsfield Parish Council.

A formal Notice of Casual Vacancy has been published today. If, within 14 working days of the date of the notice, a written request for an election is submitted by ten registered electors of the parish to the Returning Officer at South Oxfordshire District Council, an election will be held to fill the vacancy.

If no such request is received, the Parish Council will be able to fill the vacancy by co-option at a later date.
