Notice of Exercise of Public Rights – Annual Governance and Accountability Return 2024-25

Berinsfield Parish Council

In accordance with the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014 and the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015, [Parish Council Name] Parish Council hereby announces the commencement of the period for the Exercise of Public Rights for the financial year ending 31 March 2025.

The public have the right to inspect and make copies of the accounting records for the year to which the audit relates, along with all books, deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers, and receipts. These documents relate to the Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) for the year 2024-25.

• Inspection Period End Date: 14/07/2025

• Responsible Contact Person: Alex Marasco, Clerk and RFO to the Parish Council.

During this period, any person interested may inspect the accounts and request copies of the relevant documents. Local electors and their representatives also have the right to question the appointed auditor about the accounts and raise objections if they consider that an item of account is unlawful.
